Life is a series of pivots, each an opportunity for growth and rediscovery. This is a journey I know all too well. I've faced my own moments of doubt, wondering if I was truly capable of starting over or if it was too late to live life on my own terms. The powerful realization that it is, indeed, possible sparked the creation of Act 3 Strategies.

About Act 3 Strategies: Designing a Regret-Free Life

My AmeriCorps VISTA service, nearly 15 years ago, marked a significant turning point in my understanding of life's transitions. Leading job readiness workshops for veterans provided invaluable insight into the human aspects of navigating significant change. Leveraging my background in learning and development, I've instructed on critical interpersonal topics including change management, communications, and strategic thinking. These experiences equipped me with the tools and insights needed to foster both professional & personal growth, directly translating to my ability to help others embrace and move through their next pivot.

As the English essayist Samuel Johnson once wrote, "People need to be reminded more often than they need to be instructed." For mid-lifers like us, who've spent decades diligently playing by the book, this resonates deeply. Act 3 Strategies isn't about being told what to do: it's about strategic self-discovery.

pouring into the hearts of the women…grateful for your gift.

This mindset is truly at the core of everything I do, shaping my approach to navigating change.

As someone who has strategically "started over" quite a few times myself, I deeply understand the mix of excitement and uncertainty that comes with embarking on a new path. From navigating career transitions, cross-country moves, living minimally (my smallest apartment was 369sq!), to completing a 5K in my 40s: every pivot I’ve made - career, location, identity has followed the same rhythm: clarity, creativity, and action. That rhythm became the ACT3 Method: Align. Create. Transform. It’s the foundation of every coaching session, workshop, and resource I offer. Because reinvention isn’t random—it’s a process. And you deserve one that’s designed for you.

When I'm not strategizing with clients, you might find me exploring local history, enjoying a good stage play/musical, or spending time at a coffee shop with a book and my journal. Oh, and I've never met a dog I didn't like!
